A fun and spooky treat that’s perfect for any Halloween gathering, these playful confections look eye-catching and are incredibly easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Candy Melts (white or light-colored)
  • 1-2 drops Red Gel Food Coloring
  • 1 package Gummy Teeth Candies
  • ½ cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Shortening or Coconut Oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Candy Melts: Place the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring frequently, until fully melted and smooth. If using, mix in the shortening or coconut oil for a shinier finish.
  2. Add Color: Once melted, add a few drops of red gel food coloring. Stir well until the color is evenly distributed.
  3. Prepare the Mold: Spread cornstarch evenly in a shallow dish to prevent sticking.
  4. Shape the Teeth: Dip the gummy teeth into the melted candy mixture, ensure they are coated thoroughly. Lift them out, allowing excess to drip off, and place them onto the cornstarch-covered dish.
  5. Set the Candy: Allow them to sit for about an hour until fully hardened.
  6. Add Blood Effect: Drizzle extra melted red candy over the white candy-coated teeth and let them cool again for 10-15 minutes.
