Fun and flavorful spooky strawberries coated in dark and white chocolate, perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate
  • 8 ounces white chocolate
  • Orange and black sprinkles
  • Candy eyes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries to ensure the chocolate adheres well.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
  3. Dip in dark chocolate: Dip each strawberry into the melted dark chocolate, letting any excess drip off. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Melt the white chocolate: In the same manner, melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  5. Drizzle white chocolate: Use a fork to drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate-covered strawberries for a fun design.
  6. Add sprinkles: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the orange and black sprinkles on top for a spooky touch.
  7. Attach candy eyes: If desired, attach candy eyes to the wet chocolate before it sets to give your strawberries a quirky look.
  8. Chill to set: Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm, about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy your spooky treat!

Notes

Choose ripe strawberries for the best flavor and sweetness. Dark chocolate can be substituted with milk chocolate if you prefer a sweeter taste. If white chocolate is too sweet, consider using a light vanilla candy coating instead.
