A delightful dish combining tender dumplings, hearty ramen, and a rich broth, topped with creamy soft-boiled eggs and vibrant greens. Perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 soft-boiled eggs
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 12 oz frozen dumplings (any variety)
  • 4 oz instant ramen noodles
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Gently add the eggs and cook for 6-7 minutes for a soft-boiled result. Transfer the eggs to an ice water bath to cool. Peel and halve them for serving.
  2. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a gentle simmer. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil, creating a flavorful broth.
  3. Add the frozen dumplings directly to the simmering broth. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until they float and are heated through.
  4. Toss the instant ramen noodles into the pot. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring gently.
  5. Add the fresh spinach leaves to the pot, allowing them to wilt for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Divide the dumplings and noodles into serving bowls, ladling the hot broth over each. Top with halved soft-boiled eggs, sliced green onions, and a sprinkle of black sesame seeds.
