Delicious and satisfying beef tacos that are quick to prepare and customizable for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 8 taco shells or tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese
  • Salsa
  • Sour cream
  • Sliced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off excess grease if necessary.
  2. Add seasoning: Stir in taco seasoning until the beef is well-coated. Mix in the beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  3. Warm the taco shells: While the beef mixture simmers, heat the taco shells according to package instructions or warm tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  4. Assemble your tacos: Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture. Top with your choice of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and jalapeños.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Serve immediately while the tacos are still warm, and enjoy the vibrant flavors!

Notes

Do not overcook the beef; use fresh toppings for the best flavor.
