A fun and festive breakfast board featuring pancakes shaped like pumpkins and ghosts, with a variety of toppings for kids to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hungry Jack pancake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • Butter (for greasing the skillet)
  • Syrup (for drizzling)
  • Candy corn
  • Chocolate chips
  • Fresh fruits (bananas, strawberries)
  • Whipped cream
  • Halloween-themed decorations (mini pumpkins, ghost-shaped sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Hungry Jack pancake mix with eggs and milk. Stir until smooth and thick but pourable.
  2. Heat the skillet: Place a griddle over medium heat, adding a small amount of butter to coat the surface.
  3. Shape the pancakes: Pour batter onto the hot skillet in desired shapes like pumpkins or ghosts.
  4. Cook the pancakes: Cook until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Arrange for serving: Once cooked, arrange the pancakes on a large serving board.
  6. Decorate: Add candy corn, chocolate chips, and fresh fruits around the pancakes, including dollops of whipped cream.
  7. Serve with syrup: Place syrup in a small bowl on the side for drizzling over pancakes.

Notes

Ensure the pan is properly heated before pouring the batter for optimal texture. Use measuring cup for even shapes.
