Transform a simple breakfast into a fun, festive meal with these Halloween-themed scrambled eggs featuring vibrant colors and whimsical presentations.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Food coloring (yellow, red, green)
  • Optional add-ins: cooked vegetables (like spinach or bell peppers)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the eggs: Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl. Add milk and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk them together until completely combined.
  2. Color the mix: Divide the egg mixture into three bowls. Add a drop of food coloring to each: yellow in one, red in another, and green in the last. Stir gently.
  3. Heat the pan: Place a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil. Allow it to melt and coat the bottom.
  4. Add the eggs: Pour the colored egg mixtures into the skillet one at a time, starting with yellow, then red, then green. Allow to cook for a few seconds.
  5. Scramble them: Using a spatula, gently stir the eggs, mixing the colors together for a marbled effect. Remove from heat when desired doneness is reached.
  6. Serve and decorate: Spoon scrambled eggs onto plates. Sprinkle with cheese and encourage kids to create fun shapes.

Notes

Use low heat to prevent rubbery eggs and whisk well for uniform texture.
