A comforting and effortless dish featuring tender chicken thighs slow cooked in a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (bone-in and skin-on preferred for more flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh for the best flavor)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the crock pot, ensuring they’re evenly spaced.
  2. Combine the lemon juice, minced garlic, melted butter, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, coating all pieces well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  5. Remove the lid, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Bone-in thighs enhance flavor and moisture. Let the chicken rest in the sauce for 10 minutes before serving.
