These delightful cookies combine rich chocolate chips with a swirl of marble-patterned chocolate, creating an irresistible combination that is both visually stunning and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup marble patterned chocolate or white chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring the mixture is well combined. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the butter mixture gradually, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and marble chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving enough space between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers look slightly soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Ensure that your butter and eggs are at room temperature for better incorporation. Don’t overmix to keep cookies tender. Let baking sheets cool between batches.
