A comforting, creamy pasta dish that combines tender chicken, hearty mushrooms, and rich flavors, all baked together for a warm, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they become tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Add the shredded chicken and peas to the skillet, stirring to combine well with the mushrooms.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir until the mixture is combined and heated through.
  7. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is well coated.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  11. Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use leftover rotisserie chicken for added convenience. Substitutions like penne or fettuccine can work if spaghetti is unavailable. Fresh herbs can enhance the dish’s flavor, and feel free to try adding your favorite vegetables.
