A delightful dish that combines tender chicken with a rich, savory garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight meals or special dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring frequently, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Add the broth: Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release flavorful bits. Bring it to a simmer.
  5. Make it creamy: Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, blending until smooth. Let the sauce simmer for about 3-5 minutes, thickening slightly.
  6. Combine chicken and sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well in the sauce. Allow everything to heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve and garnish: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Fresh garlic cloves provide the best flavor.
