A simple and flavorful marinade that enhances chicken dishes with tangy balsamic vinegar, zesty lemon juice, and fragrant garlic.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prepare Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, and mixed herbs. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Marinate Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
  3. Preheat Grill or Oven: If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If baking, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Cook Chicken: For grilling, place on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). For baking, place into a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. For skillet cooking, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Rest and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Marinating overnight enhances flavor; use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
