Classic homemade chocolate chip cookies that are warm, gooey, and easy to make, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter (softened at room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips to evenly distribute them.
  6. Scoop the dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For chewier cookies, bake at a lower temperature for a longer time. For crispy cookies, follow the recommended temperature.
