These fun and creative mini Halloween desserts are perfect for sharing at spooky gatherings, offering delightful flavors and eye-catching presentations.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownie mix (or your favorite homemade brownie recipe)
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1 cup of butter (softened)
  • 3 cups of powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • Orange and black food coloring
  • Edible eyes (store-bought)
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles
  • Mini candy bars (to create creepy claws or tombstones)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Fold in the chocolate chips for extra richness.
  2. Spoon the brownie batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow them to cool completely in the tin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until combined. Add vanilla extract and milk, adjusting the consistency if necessary. Divide the frosting into two bowls; tint one orange and leave the other white.
  4. Once the brownies are completely cooled, use a piping bag or a knife to frost half of the brownies with white frosting. Frost the other half with orange frosting.
  5. To create the mini desserts, use edible eyes, sprinkles, and mini candy bars. For example, use mini candy bars to resemble tombstones, or sprinkle Halloween sprinkles on the frosted brownies for a festive effect.
  6. Once decorated, arrange your mini Halloween desserts on a platter. They are ready to serve at your Halloween celebration!

Notes

Allow the brownies to cool completely before frosting. Use a cookie scoop for evenly sized brownie bites. Feel free to taste and adjust the frosting sweetness.
